Our Trustees had started this with the sole aim of imparting primary, secondary & higher education to boys and girls in and around Madurai, the Temple City. They have a rich experience for the past5 decades in running educational institution right from the Primary School to Higher Secondary School.
On entering the arena of higher education in 1995, our trust has been registered to start institution of higher education. After purchasing the land of nearly 75 acres, our trust initiated the work by starting an arts college in 1997 with a mere 50 students. Within 19 years, that arts college has become a hub of higher education for girls now educating nearly 2000 girls. Almost, 3000 graduates and post graduates have been created so far. Nearly, 40000 Sq.ft of buildings have been constructed and all the equipments and the infrastructure facilities have been created.
In the year 2006, our trust was successful in starting Mangayarkarsi College of Education to impart B.Ed course with an intake of 100 students. To add a feather in our cap, our college was the first in South india to admit 200 B.Ed students in 2007 itself. So far, we have chiselled and created 1500 teachers who are serving the society in a dedicated manner. In the same year 2007, we launched a project of Mangayarkarasi Teacher Training Institute with an intake of 100 students and so far we have created nearly 900 teachers in the primary level so far.
Again in 2013, we had got the recognition to start the Mangayarkarasi Engineering College with an annual intake of 300. Now we are successfully completing third year with a total strength of nearly 500. We had completed nearly 1 Lakh Sq.Ft of buildings with all requisite infrastructure and lab facilities.
